Supercars 2018 Odds

The Supercars Championship is the premier Australian FIA-sanctioned racing series for supercars. The championship puts 3 supercars manufacturers between each other (Holden, Nissan, Ford) and is held on 16 racing tracks across the country. There are a total of 31 races in which the teams and players are competing for the title.

The season starts at the beginning of March with the Adelaide 500 and ends with the Newcastle 500 at the end of November. The point system awards drivers that have completed at least 75% of the race track based on their performance. The maximum number of points that can be won is 300 per event. Of course, the driver with the most points at the end of the season becomes the winner of the Supercars Championship.

Last year, the title went in Jamie Whincup’s hands, with the DJR Team Penske winning the team’s championship. This season things are different, with most experts giving Scott McLaughlin the biggest chances to win. McLaughlin is leading the championship after the first 5 round and a heavy favorite for the title.

The New Zealand driver is one of the youngest competitors in the championship and the youngest driver ever to win a championship race, after winning a race in 2011 when he was 17 years old. This year’s edition of the championship introduced the first Generation 2 Supercars, which opened up the category for a wider variety of engine configurations and body shapes. There were a few changes in the format as well, with the Sydney SuperNight300 becoming the first night race since the Yas Marina Circuit (Abu Dhabi) in 2011. The SydneyNight300 will be a single 300 km. race under lights.

If you fancy betting on some of the favorites, here are the best odds from 5 well-known bookmakers:

MansionBet is a popular British online bookmaker which offers more than 30 sports you can place your bets on. There’s a welcome offer of 50% for bets up to £50 and a huge variety of specials for different sports events. The site also has a casino and the good news is that your winnings are transferable to the casino.

For the 2018 Supercars Championship, MansionBet are going with Scott McLaughlin as the favorite. They’re giving the young New Zealand racing star odds of 20/33. Next on the list is Shane Van Gisbergen who has odds of 17/10, followed by last year’s champion Jamie Whincup with 27/4 and David Reynolds has odds of 21/2 just like Craig Lowndes. When it comes to the other players, their chances are not so great. Scott Pye is a long shot for the title with odds of 39/1 and after him, the odds are going as high as 975/1 for Cameron Waters.

TLCBet is a British bookmaker which is focused on the Asian sportsbook market. However, they still have a variety of other sports you can bet on including motorsports racing and the Supercar Championship. TLCBet offers up to £30 Free Bet for new customers and interesting promotions on different sports events you should definitely check out.

Just like MansionBet, TLCBet has Scott McLaughlin as the heavy favorite for the title with odds of 20/33. Van Gisbergen is next on the list with odds of 17/10, followed by Whincup with 27/4 and Reynolds with 21/2. The next 3 drivers, Craig Lowndes, Scott Pye and Fabian Coulthard come at 21/1, 39/1 and 49/1 respectively. The other drivers aren’t really given big chances, with the odds going as high as 475/1 for Michael Caruso and 975/1 for Will Davison.

Although McLaughlin is the main favorite for this year’s title, his odds are not exactly exciting. If you ask us, we’d put a reasonable bet on some of the other players as there are many races left in the championship and surprises can be expected.

Ole777 is a popular bookmaker established over a year ago that’s already gaining quite a lot of attention and respect from punters. They offer a huge variety of sports and markets and a £30 Free Bonus Token when you meet qualifying terms (10 qualifying bets of £30). The site runs promotions for their loyal customers and newcomers often, so make sure to check that section before placing your bets.

When it comes to the Supercars Championship, Ole777 offers no surprises. Scott McLaughlin is the leading favorite for the title again with odds of 20/33. He is followed by Shave Van Gisbergen (17/10), Jamie Whincup (27/4) and Craig Lowndes and Jamie Reynolds (21/2). Although Scott McLaughlin gives you a better chance of winning, Whincup’s odds are much better. Last year’s champion is certainly not without his chances and if you’re willing to bet on him, you can earn a quite large sum of money in return.

Fun88 is a popular British bookmaker and the current main shirt sponsor of Premier League team Newcastle United. The site’s popularity is growing thanks to the huge variety of sports events you can bet on and their attractive promotions. Fun88 will give you a £28 Free Bet after your first 6 qualifying bets. Scott McLaughlin is the main favorite for the 2018 Supercars Championship title at Fun88 as well. He’s being given odds of 20/33, while Shane Van Gisbergen sits on the second place with odds of 17/10. He is followed by Whincup and Reynolds with odds of 27/4 and 21/2 respectively, leaving Craig Lowndes and Scott Pye behind with odds of 21/2 and 39/1.

If you don’t want to bet on the favorites, you can place risk a bet on some of the players with lower chances of winning the tournament. For example, Fabian Coulthard has 49/1 chances of winning the championship, which means you’ll get a nice payout for a reasonable bet.

SportPesa is yet another British ambitious online bookmaker with a wide range of sports and markets you can place your bets on. SportPesa is also the official shirt sponsor of Liverpool-based Premier League club Everton F.C. The site offers a £10 Matched Bet for new customers and runs weekly and monthly promotions that can increase your winnings.

When it comes to the Supercars Championship, SportPesa favors Scott McLaughlin and his Ford Falcon FG X just like all the other bookmakers on this list. The heavy favorite has odds of 20/33 while his fellow New Zealander Shane Van Gisbergen is behind with odds of 17/10. Seven-time Supercars Championship winner Jamie Whincup is being given odds of 27/4, while David Reynolds, Craig Lowndes, and Scott Pye have odds of 21/2, 21/2 and 39/1 respectively.

Fabian Coulthard, a second cousin to famous F1 driver David Coulthard is the next favorite on the list, although his chances are considerably lower with odds of 49/1.
