The British Academy Film Awards, aka BAFTA is one of the biggest events in the film industry, and definitely the most important and most popular such event in Britain. Considered a British equivalent of the Oscars, BAFTA attracts a large number of viewers and it is one of the most popular non-sports betting events among punters.
Almost all reliable bookmakers offer BAFTA betting and you can bet on the winner of numerous respective categories that are featured in BAFTA. The betting options become available long before the ceremony is held, even though the odds may change over time, depending on the available information.
The BAFTA ceremony this year (2018), will take place on the 18th of February in the Royal Albert Hall and bookmakers are already offering outright betting odds for some of the award categories, whereas other categories will be added as the event date approaches.
